We recently received an order from a client in the automotive industry. The customer was looking for a trolley that allowed for the protection of trays that hold valuable products while also allowing the trolley to be used rapidly in production. The solution we came up with was this Depan Transport Trolley. The trolley was fitted with a worktop to aid the operator in their daily chores and a cabinet to allow the valuable products to be stored and protected during transportation. The worktop also has electrical properties that allow for a path to ground for any build up of electrical charge, thus protecting the electrical items within the cabinet. Two doors also protect the valuable goods within the cabinet.
This solution was designed with the operator in mind. It is a lightweight, ergonomically designed trolley. The ESD castors are smooth rolling and allow for easy and safe movement around the factory floor. The comfortable handles on either side of the trolley also allow for ease of use for the operator. The trolley is made from aluminium FlowTube. This lightweight material allows for easy transportation while also being strong enough to withstand heavy loads. Because of its compact design, the trolley can be easily stored when not in use.
Overall, the Depan Transport Trolley helps to improve efficiencey, reduce worker fatigue, save space and protect electrical components from build up of charge. From concept to design this order was completed within six weeks. Use our tools below to get the best sense of the solution.
